This is an ASUS warranty upgrade service, not a physical product -- it extends an eligible ASUS device's original 1-year base warranty to 3 years of ASUS Onsite Service with Next Business Day (NBD) response. Under standard ASUS Onsite/NBD terms, once a hardware fault is logged and confirmed by ASUS support, a technician is dispatched to repair the unit at the customer's premises on the next business day, rather than the customer having to ship the device in for repair and wait for its return -- reducing downtime for a business-critical laptop or desktop. Like ASUS's other care-pack services, this upgrade must generally be purchased and activated within a limited window (typically 180 days) of the original product's invoice date, and it applies to one specific ASUS unit rather than being transferable.
