This is a combined ASUS warranty upgrade, not a physical product -- it extends an eligible device's 1-year base warranty out to 5 years of Onsite Service with Next Business Day (NBD) response, and bundles in 5 years of Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) to match. Onsite/NBD means a technician is dispatched to the customer's site the next business day once a hardware fault is confirmed, rather than requiring the unit to be shipped away for repair. ADP goes beyond the standard hardware warranty (manufacturing defects and component failure only) to also cover genuine accidental damage such as a liquid spill, a drop, or a cracked screen, typically for one claim within the term. As with ASUS's other care-pack services, this bundle generally must be purchased and activated within a limited window (commonly 180 days) of the original invoice date, and applies to one specific eligible ASUS unit rather than being transferable between devices.
