ASUS 3 Years Accidental Damage Protection
This is an ASUS Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) service upgrade, not a physical product -- it adds 3 years of cover for genuine accidental damage to an eligible ASUS device, on top of (and separate from) the standard hardware warranty. A normal ASUS warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failure only, and explicitly excludes damage caused by the user, such as a dropped laptop, a spilled drink on the keyboard, or a cracked screen -- ADP is specifically designed to cover those real-world accidents, typically allowing one claim within the coverage term subject to ASUS's terms and conditions. Like ASUS's other care-pack services, ADP generally needs to be purchased and activated within a limited window (commonly 180 days) of the original product's invoice date, and it's tied to one specific device rather than being transferable.
