The ASUS W5000 is a wireless keyboard and mouse set connecting over 2.4GHz RF via a single shared USB dongle, with a working range of up to 10 metres. The keyboard has a slim, metal-look 11mm-thin profile with rubber-dome switches rated for 10 million keystrokes and quiet, low-noise typing, measuring about 434 x 120 x 21.5mm and weighing 460g; it runs on 2x AAA batteries. The matching mouse offers optical tracking with a choice of 800, 1200 or 1600 DPI, measures roughly 110 x 60.7 x 30.7mm, weighs 57.8g, runs on a single AA battery, and automatically enters an energy-saving mode when idle, with an LED indicator that turns red as a low-battery warning. A neat touch is that the USB dongle stores inside a small compartment on the underside of the mouse when not in use, so it's harder to lose while travelling.
