ASUS 3 Years Accidental Damage Protection
This is an ASUS Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) service upgrade, not a physical product -- it adds 3 years of cover for genuine accidental damage to an eligible ASUS device, layered on top of (and separate from) the standard hardware warranty. A normal warranty only covers manufacturing defects and component failure, explicitly excluding user-caused damage such as a dropped device, a liquid spill, or a cracked screen -- ADP is built specifically to cover those situations, typically allowing one claim within the coverage term under ASUS's stated terms and conditions. Like ASUS's other care-pack services, ADP generally must be purchased and activated within a limited window (commonly 180 days) of the original invoice date, and the cover applies to one specific device rather than being transferable to a different unit.
