ASUS Extends warranty from 2 years to 3 Years
This is a straightforward ASUS warranty extension service, not a physical product -- it takes a device with a 2-year base hardware warranty and extends it by a further year to 3 years total, covering manufacturing defects and component failure for the extra period the same way the original warranty did. It does not change the service level (e.g. it does not add onsite repair, accidental damage cover, or battery replacement) -- it purely lengthens how long the existing warranty terms remain in force for the covered device.
