HP Heavy Duty Cash Drawer
The HP Heavy Duty Cash Drawer is a metal POS cash drawer built for high-transaction-volume retail counters, rated for over 4,000,000 open/close cycles compared with roughly 1,000,000 cycles on HP's Standard Duty drawer -- making it the better fit for a busy till that opens many times a day over years of service. It uses a 24V solenoid to trigger electronically (rather than a manual release), connecting via an RJ12 interface run through an RJ45-style cable (about 1.55m/5ft) back to a compatible HP POS printer or terminal that fires the open signal at the end of a transaction. It includes a removable till insert for organising bills and coins.
