This is a Dell 2U Cable Management Arm (CMA) customer kit, a hinged bracket assembly that mounts to the rear of a 2U rack server's rail system and routes power, network and other cables neatly along with the server as it slides in and out of the rack for servicing. Rather than having loose cables that must be disconnected every time a server is pulled forward for maintenance, a cable management arm holds the cable bundle in a flexible, folding arm that extends and retracts with the sliding rails, letting a technician access drives, PSUs or other rear-panel connections while the server is partially extended without unplugging anything. It ships as a customer-installable kit with the mounting hardware needed to fit a compatible 2U PowerEdge server's existing rail kit.
