Dell E Dell PERC H330+ RAID Controller Adapter CK
The Dell PERC H330+ is an entry-level PowerEdge RAID controller card, supplied here as a Dell Customer Kit (CK) adapter for self-installation into a compatible PowerEdge server. It is a PCIe 3.0 add-in card built around a 12Gb/s SAS RAID-on-chip design with SAS connectors that support both 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SATA hard drives and SSDs. Configurable RAID levels are 0, 1, 5, 10 and 50, letting an administrator balance capacity, redundancy and performance across the server's internal drive bays, and it can address up to 16 drives in RAID mode or 32 drives in non-RAID (HBA pass-through) mode. The H330+ has no onboard cache memory, which keeps its cost down but means write performance on parity RAID levels (5 and 50) trails a cached PERC card such as the H730 or H750 -- it is best suited to boot volumes, mirrored RAID 1/10 arrays, and general-purpose storage rather than heavy database or write-intensive workloads.
