Dell Wyse 5030 PCoIP Zero Client CTO/5030 PCoIP 32MB FLASH / 512MB DDR3 RAM RJ45 Only/DVI I port. DVI to VGA (DB 15)/mouse/3Yr ProSupport with Partner Led Carry In Service (Emerging only)
The Dell Wyse 5030 is a PCoIP zero client, configured here to order (CTO) with 32MB of flash storage and 512MB of DDR3 RAM -- deliberately minimal, since a zero client has no local operating system at all and exists purely to decode the PCoIP display protocol and render a virtual desktop hosted on a remote server, with essentially zero local processing of user data. This configuration is fitted with an RJ45-only network port (no Wi-Fi), a DVI-I video output supplied with a DVI-to-VGA (DB-15) adapter for connecting an older analogue monitor, and a mouse. It's covered by 3 years of Dell ProSupport with Partner-Led Carry-In service (an "Emerging" market support tier). Zero clients like this are used in secure, centrally-managed VDI environments such as call centres, hospitals, and banks where no data should ever be stored on the endpoint device itself.
