The Dell Pro Active Pen PN526 is a universal active stylus built for Dell's 2-in-1 convertible and detachable laptops that support digital pen input. It delivers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity with tilt detection for natural handwriting, sketching and note-taking, and it supports multiple industry pen protocols -- Wacom AES 1.0/2.0, Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) 2.0, USI 2.0, and WGP -- so a single pen can work across a range of compatible Dell 2-in-1 models rather than one specific device. Two programmable side buttons provide quick access to functions such as right-click or eraser mode. It's powered by a single AAAA battery, rated for up to around 8 months of typical use on MPP-protocol devices, and the box includes two spare nibs, a nib-removal tool and a replacement battery.
