This is an ATEN Altusen 16-port rack-mount KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) console, built into a dual-rail sliding tray with an integrated 17-inch LCD screen — the standard way data centres access many servers from a single console without needing a monitor, keyboard, and mouse per machine. The "IP" designation and Cat5 wiring mean it also supports remote KVM-over-IP access, so administrators can reach the console from elsewhere on the network, not just physically in the rack. It is TAA compliant (meeting US federal procurement rules) and ships with a keyboard and regional power cord. Bought by data centres and IT departments managing multiple rack servers from consolidated, space-saving console hardware.
