This is an ATEN 8-port rackmount KVM console, built into a 19" LCD drawer with integrated USB/PS2 combo switching across the 8 connected servers, plus an extra console port for a second local access point. It's a smaller-capacity sibling to the 16-port version elsewhere in this catalog, suited to smaller server rooms or racks with fewer than 16 machines needing local KVM access. Folding away into roughly 1U of rack space when not in use, it lets a technician manage multiple servers from a single keyboard, monitor and mouse without dedicating a full monitor per machine, and includes USB peripheral pass-through for tasks like mounting an installation drive to whichever server is currently selected.
