This is an ATEN rack-mount KVM console drawer built around a 19-inch widescreen Full HD LCD panel, in a short-depth chassis to suit racks with limited rear clearance, mounted on a dual-rail sliding tray. It supports DVI, HDMI, and VGA video inputs, covering most common server video outputs, and includes an integrated keyboard and pointing device with a regional power cord. Consoles like this let a data centre or server room access any connected server's screen and input directly from the rack, without dedicating a separate monitor/keyboard/mouse to each machine. Bought by data centres and IT departments for space-efficient server access and administration.
