This ATEN unit is an 8-port KVM switch with a built-in LCD screen in an ultra-short-depth 1U rackmount drawer — the "flip up and use" style console popular in server rooms where there's no space or need for a separate dedicated monitor. It supports both PS/2 and USB connections for the console keyboard/mouse and for connecting to the target servers, over a VGA video connection, letting a single slide-out screen and keyboard manage up to 8 different servers by switching between them at the press of a button, rather than needing separate monitors and keyboards for each.
