The ADATA XPG Precog is an analogue gaming headset built around a hybrid electrostatic/dynamic dual-driver design, an unusual approach for a gaming headset that pairs a fast, detailed electrostatic element with a dynamic driver's bass output in the same 13.5mm driver assembly. This is intended to give cleaner high-frequency detail (useful for picking out footsteps and directional audio cues) alongside the fuller low end a dynamic driver provides on its own. The earcups rotate and the headband auto-adjusts for fit, an electroplated aluminium build adds durability, and a detachable unidirectional microphone handles voice chat and can be removed when not needed. Frequency response is rated at a wide 5Hz-20kHz, and it connects over a simple 3.5mm jack, keeping setup plug-and-play across PC and any device with a standard headphone port, without needing drivers, software or a battery.
