The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X is a Zen 4 high-end-desktop processor with 24 cores and 48 threads, a 4.2GHz base clock, and boost up to 5.3GHz - suited to creators and power users who want strong multi-threaded rendering and encoding performance plus responsive single-core speed for everyday work. Its large combined cache and quad-channel DDR5 memory on TRX50 motherboards give it real headroom over mainstream desktop chips. 92 PCIe 5.0 lanes allow multiple GPUs or several NVMe drives at once. The most affordable entry into the Zen 4 non-PRO Threadripper lineup. No cooler included.
