Amphenol 7 pin XLR female inline

The Amphenol AC7F is a 7-pole female XLR cable connector from Amphenol's AC series, used to build or repair multi-pin audio and control cables. Seven-pin XLRs are common on valve (tube) condenser microphones and their power supplies, some intercom and stage-lighting control systems, and other equipment that needs more conductors than a standard 3-pin XLR. The AC7F has machined phosphor-bronze solder contacts with gold plating, a nickel-finished metal shell and a jaws-type cable clamp that grips cables from 3 to 6.5 mm in diameter and takes up to about 100 lb of pull. The ground contact (pin 1) mates first and breaks last. It is rated at 5 A and 133 V RMS, operates from -25 to +75 degrees Celsius, and complies with IEC 268-12 and AES 14-1992. Amphenol lists it as comparable to Neutrik NC7FX.
