Amphenol Bulkhead Adapter-Isolated, 'D' Shell Housing, BNC

The Amphenol AC-BNC-JJ-75 is a panel-mount BNC feedthrough (bulkhead adapter) in the standard 'D' shell housing, with a BNC jack on both the front and the back. It lets a video or timecode line pass through a patch panel, rack panel, wall plate or flight-case panel without soldering: a BNC cable plugs into each side with a bayonet lock. The BNC is isolated from the housing, which helps avoid ground loops between the panel and the signal. It is a true 75 ohm design, which Amphenol rates from DC to 4 GHz, so it suits SDI video, analogue video, word clock and other broadcast and AV signals. The metal D-shell has a satin nickel finish and uses the same standard 'D' cut-out and two-screw mounting as XLR, etherCON and other D-series panel connectors, so it can share panels with them. Amphenol's catalogue gives a 1500 V RMS dielectric withstanding voltage and a 500 V RMS voltage rating. It is comparable to Neutrik's NBB75DFI; a black version (AC-BNC-JJ-75B) also exists. Supplied as a single adapter.
