Amphenol Female XLR 4 Inline, Machined contacts, Nickel finish

The Amphenol AC4F is a 4-pole female XLR cable connector from Amphenol's AC series, used to build and repair 4-pin XLR cables. Four-pin XLR is standard on many intercom headsets, on DC power leads for cameras, monitors and field recorders, and on some scrolling and control equipment, so it is a common spare for broadcasters, video crews and hire companies. The housing is diecast zinc alloy with a nickel finish, the machined contacts are silver plated for solder termination and take wire up to 16 AWG, and the jaw-type cable clamp gives a typical retention force of about 22 to 44 kg depending on the cable. Cable outer diameter is 3 to 6.5 mm (6.5 to 8 mm with the large-solder option). Amphenol rates it at 10 A per contact, 133 V RMS service voltage, IP40, UL94 V-0, -25 to +75 °C and 1,000 mating cycles, and lists it as comparable to the Neutrik NC4FX. Supplied as a single connector; cable not included.
