The Amphenol ACPS-KN is a straight 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) stereo TRS jack plug from Amphenol's Musician Range II, with a slim nickel-finished zinc diecast shell and a black rear boot. It is used for balanced line leads, headphone extension cables, insert and patch leads, and any other job that needs a three-contact (tip, ring, sleeve) quarter-inch plug, from studio patching to live sound and instrument rigs. The compact body suits dense patch bays and equipment panels where larger professional plugs crowd each other. Contacts are soldered and accept wire up to 18 AWG (1 mm²). Amphenol rates it at 10 A depending on the mating connector and cable, IP40, UL94 V-0 or HB, -25 to +70 °C and 1,000 mating cycles. Supplied as a single plug; cable not included.
