The Amphenol ACPM-RN is a right-angle (90°) 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) mono TS jack plug from Amphenol's Musician range, with nickel-plated tip and sleeve. It is the standard choice for guitar and bass instrument leads and pedalboard patch cables, where the angled body keeps the lead tight against the instrument or pedal and away from feet and stands. As a two-contact (tip and sleeve) plug it carries unbalanced mono signals such as instrument, effects-send and speaker-level connections on smaller amplifiers. The housing is zinc diecast, contacts are soldered and take wire up to 16 AWG (1.5 mm²), and Amphenol rates it at 10 A depending on the mating connector and cable, IP40, UL94 V-0 or HB, -25 to +70 °C and 1,000 mating cycles.
