The Amphenol SP-4-F is a 4-pole loudspeaker cable connector, the Amphenol equivalent of the Neutrik NL4FC / NL4FX locking speaker plug used between power amplifiers and passive PA loudspeakers. It is used to build and repair speaker cables for touring rigs, installations, stage monitors and DJ systems; four poles allow one cable to carry two amplifier channels for bi-amped cabinets or two passive speakers. It has a black PA66 GF30 glass-filled polyamide shell and high-power screw contacts (silver plated) supplied with the connector, so no soldering is required. Amphenol rates it at 20 A per contact, 133 V RMS service voltage, 1500 V test voltage, IP20 (IP40 mated), UL94 HB, 5,000 mating cycles and -25 to +75 °C, with a 200 N cable retention force and a cable outer diameter range of 5 to 10 mm. It mates with 4-pole speaker chassis sockets such as the SP-4-MC. Supplied as a single connector; cable not included.
