Amphenol Speaker Plug 4 Pole Metal nickel shell PG Gland

The Amphenol SP-4-FNSG (supplier code SP4FNSG) is a 4-pole loudspeaker cable connector from Amphenol's SP series, the Amphenol equivalent of the common locking speaker connector used between power amplifiers and PA loudspeakers. This version has a metal diecast zinc alloy housing with a nickel finish and a blue locking collar, high-power solder contacts, and a PG cable gland on the rear that clamps and seals round the cable, which makes it a good choice for heavy, larger-diameter speaker cable used on touring and installation rigs. The four poles allow a single cable to carry two amplifier channels, for example bi-amped speakers or a pair of passive cabinets. Amphenol rates it at 20 A per contact, IP20 (IP40 when mated), UL94 HB flammability, 5,000 mating cycles and -25 to +75 degrees C. It mates with standard 4-pole speaker chassis connectors and is used by sound hire companies, installers and venues building their own speaker cables. Supplied as a single cable connector; cable not included.
