The Amphenol ACPS-RN is a right-angle (90°) 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) stereo TRS jack plug from Amphenol's Musician range. The low-profile angled body keeps the cable close to the instrument or equipment panel, which makes it a common choice for guitar pedalboards, keyboards, headphone extension leads and patch leads where a straight plug would stick out and be knocked. Being a three-contact (tip, ring, sleeve) plug, it carries balanced mono or unbalanced stereo signals. The housing is zinc diecast, contacts are soldered and take wire up to 18 AWG (1 mm²), and Amphenol rates it at 10 A depending on the mating connector and cable, IP40, UL94 V-0 or HB, -25 to +70 °C and 1,000 mating cycles.
