The Amphenol TS3P is a professional 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) stereo TRS jack plug with nickel tip, ring and sleeve, a nickel-finished metal front section and a thermoplastic backshell. It is used for balanced line leads, headphone extension cables, insert leads and patch cables in studios, live sound rigs and installations, and its robust body and cable clamp suit leads that are handled daily. As a three-contact plug it carries a balanced mono signal or an unbalanced stereo signal. Amphenol lists it as comparable to the Neutrik NP3X and NP3C straight stereo plugs. The contacts are soldered, so it suits anyone making up their own cables to length. Supplied as a single plug; cable not included.
