The APC Rack PDU 9000 is a Zero-U vertical power distribution unit — mounted along the side of a server rack rather than taking up horizontal rack units — carrying 21 C13 and 3 C19 outlets on a 16A 230V circuit, enough to power a full rack of servers, switches and other IT gear from one metered strip. Being "Switched" means each outlet (or the strip as a whole, depending on model tier) can be remotely powered on/off and monitored, useful for remote power-cycling a hung device without a site visit, or sequencing startup after an outage. It ships with an IEC309 industrial input cord for the 16A supply connection, and carries a 3-year warranty.
