This is an APC Smart-UPS RT SRT8KXLi, an 8,000VA double-conversion online UPS built for server rooms and data centres needing continuous, high-quality backup power. It includes an LCD graphics display for at-a-glance status, and ships with the AP9619 network management card (adding remote network monitoring/management plus environmental monitoring, e.g. temperature/humidity sensors) pre-installed in its smart slot. It connects via a serial interface and includes monitoring software for integration with IT infrastructure management. Runtime is extendable via optional external battery packs (SRT192BP2), and the unit is convertible to a 6U rackmount form using two SRTRK2 rail kits. A built-in cooling fan manages heat from its continuous double-conversion operation.
