The APC Smart-UPS SRT SRT5KXLi is a 5000VA double-conversion online UPS built for protecting servers, networking racks and other critical equipment where even a brief power interruption or dirty mains supply is unacceptable — a common requirement in South Africa given load shedding and grid instability. It ships pre-fitted with an AP9619 Network Management Card for remote monitoring plus environmental monitoring, has an LCD graphics display for at-a-glance status, and offers serial and UTP interfaces alongside APC's monitoring software. It supports additional SRT192BP extended-run battery packs for longer runtimes, includes a cooling fan for sustained load, and can be converted to a 3U rack-mount configuration using the optional SRTRK2 kit.
