The Garmin Approach S62 Premium is a full-featured GPS golf watch aimed at serious golfers who also want everyday smartwatch functionality, sitting well above the basic Approach S12 in this catalogue. It preloads over 41,000 courses worldwide with full-colour CourseView maps, PlaysLike Distance (adjusts yardages for elevation change), Garmin's Virtual Caddie club-and-shot recommendations, and automatic shot-distance tracking with post-round analysis in the Garmin Golf app — all things the S12 cannot do. Away from the course it adds a wrist heart-rate sensor, Pulse Ox blood-oxygen sensing, smartphone notifications, and Garmin Pay contactless payment, so it functions as a genuine daily smartwatch, not just a golf tool. The display is a 1.3" sunlight-readable, transflective MIP touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, set in a premium ceramic-bezel case weighing about 62g (2.2oz) and rated 5 ATM water resistant. Battery life is up to 14 days in smartwatch mode and around 20 hours with GPS running continuously on the course — this Black colourway pairs a black ceramic bezel with a black silicone band. Best suited to a golfer who wants Garmin's most complete golf feature set in a watch they can also wear all week.
