This 8GB DDR4 compact SO-DIMM from Arktek, running at 2666MHz. As a compact SO-DIMM, it installs into a laptop, notebook, mini-PC, or other small-form-factor system with SO-DIMM memory slots rather than a full-size desktop. Matching capacity, speed, and form factor exactly to the target system (and, for a multi-module upgrade, matching modules to each other) is what lets DDR4 memory run reliably at its full rated speed rather than falling back to a slower, auto-negotiated speed or failing to POST altogether. The catalog's "PC-2666" designation is the JEDEC PC-rating shorthand for the DDR4-2666 speed grade. As a notebook-format module at a slightly lower speed grade than its PC-3200 sibling in this range, it suits laptops whose platform is specified for DDR4-2666 rather than the faster 3200 grade. It ships with the standard manufacturer warranty and is aimed at builders, upgraders, and IT professionals in South Africa who need accurate specifications to match against their existing platform.
