The Armaggeddon Orion 7 in the "Sierra" colourway is a wireless gaming headset built around Armaggeddon's eDSP (embedded digital signal processing) 7.1 surround-sound implementation — meaning the 7.1 surround processing is handled by a dedicated chip built directly into the headset itself, rather than relying entirely on PC-side software, giving more consistent surround performance across different connected devices. Going wireless removes the cable-management hassle of a wired gaming headset, useful both for competitive play (no cord catching mid-movement) and for general comfort during long sessions. The "Sierra" finish is one of a small range of earth-toned colourways Armaggeddon offers for the Orion 7, distinguishing it visually from the brand's more common black/RGB-focused headsets. As a higher-tier model in Armaggeddon's lineup (wireless plus onboard 7.1 processing, versus the wired, USB-driven Nuke series), the Orion 7 targets gamers wanting genuine positional audio accuracy without a cable at all, alongside the comfort of a padded headband and cushioned over-ear cups for extended sessions.
