The ASUS GX10 (branded by ASUS as the Ascent GX10) is a compact desktop AI supercomputer built around NVIDIA's GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip - a combined package pairing a 20-core Arm v9.2-A CPU with an NVIDIA Blackwell-architecture GPU on one module. It's designed to deliver desktop-footprint access to petaflop-class AI compute, running NVIDIA's own DGX OS (a Linux-based platform purpose-built for AI development) rather than a general consumer or Windows operating system.
Its headline feature is 128GB of unified LPDDR5x memory shared coherently between the CPU and GPU - large enough to load and fine-tune large language models with up to roughly 200 billion parameters locally on the desktop, rather than needing cloud GPU infrastructure for that scale of model work. This configuration includes 4TB of NVMe storage for datasets, model checkpoints, and containers. Networking is handled by an NVIDIA ConnectX-7 SmartNIC alongside onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so it can be clustered with additional GX10-class units over high-speed networking for larger model training jobs, in addition to standing alone as a single AI development workstation. It ships with NVIDIA's AI software stack pre-integrated on top of DGX OS, aimed squarely at AI researchers, data scientists, and developers building and testing agentic AI and LLM-based applications locally before deploying to larger infrastructure.
