The Ryzen 9-8940HX is one of AMD's highest-tier mobile gaming processors, and paired with an RTX 5070 this configuration is built for genuinely demanding modern gaming at the laptop's native WQXGA resolution, including ray tracing and DLSS-accelerated titles, as well as heavier workloads like video editing or 3D rendering that benefit from both a strong CPU and a capable discrete GPU. ASUS includes a ROG-branded backpack in the box, sized and padded for transporting the laptop along with a charger and accessories to LAN events or between home and work. As part of the ROG Strix line, expect ASUS's gaming-focused design cues - RGB keyboard lighting, an aggressive vented chassis, and Armoury Crate software for performance/fan-curve tuning - over the plainer styling of ASUS's business ExpertBook range. Its keyboard and touchpad also carry ASUS's per-key RGB backlighting, tunable through the bundled Armoury Crate software alongside fan curves and performance profiles.
