The ASUSTOR Drivestor 2 Pro (AS3302T) is a 2-bay NAS for home users and small businesses who want faster networking than entry-level units. It uses a Realtek RTD1296 quad-core 1.4GHz processor with 2GB DDR4 memory, and its two 3.5-inch SATA bays run in RAID 0, RAID 1 or JBOD. The headline feature is a 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet port, so with a 2.5GbE switch or PC card file copies move well beyond the 110MB/s or so a Gigabit port allows. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports connect external backup drives, printers or UPS signalling. ASUSTOR's ADM software provides Btrfs snapshots, backups to cloud services, media serving and photo apps, and AES-256 encryption protects shared folders. It suits a family photo archive, a small office file server, or a Plex library on modest hardware. Supplied diskless: add two NAS-rated drives to get started.
