The Asustor Flashstor 6 (FS6706T) is an all-flash NAS that swaps hard drives for up to six M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs, making it near-silent and very compact at under 5cm tall. It suits video editors, photographers and small teams who want quick shared storage on their desk without the noise of spinning disks. Inside is an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core CPU (2.0GHz, burst 2.9GHz) with 4GB DDR4 memory, expandable to 16GB. Networking is handled by two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with link aggregation, and there are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports plus two USB 2.0 ports for external drives. An HDMI 2.0b output and S/PDIF audio let it double as a media player. It runs Asustor ADM with Btrfs support and can be expanded with Asustor expansion units. The unit uses an external 65W adapter, draws around 18W in operation and comes with a 3-year warranty. SSDs are sold separately.
