The Asustor Lockerstor 12R Pro (AS7112RDX) is a 12-bay 2U rackmount NAS for enterprises running virtualisation, large file shares and backup targets. It is built around an Intel Xeon E-2224 quad-core processor (3.4GHz, up to 4.6GHz) with 8GB of DDR4-2666 ECC memory, expandable to 128GB across four slots. Twelve hot-swappable SATA bays support up to 216TB raw, and two M.2 slots (NVMe or SATA, up to 22110 length) provide SSD caching. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are standard, while three PCIe Gen3 slots (two x4 and one x8) accept optional 10/25/40/50GbE or SAS cards, so the system can grow with your network. Connectivity also includes four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and two Type-C ports. Dual 550W redundant power supplies, three system fans and a service LED suit always-on server rooms. It runs Asustor ADM, scales to 24 drives with expansion units and carries a 5-year warranty. Drives are not included.
