The Asustor Lockerstor 4 Gen2 (AS6704T) is a four-bay NAS for small businesses and prosumers that need dependable shared storage with room to grow. It uses an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core CPU (2.0GHz, burst 2.9GHz) with 4GB DDR4 memory, expandable to 16GB. Four hot-swappable SATA bays support 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives for up to 72TB raw, and four M.2 2280 NVMe slots can be used for caching or a fast SSD volume. Out of the box it has two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a PCIe slot lets you add an optional 10GbE network card later. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.0b output and a front LCD panel that shows the IP address and status make setup and monitoring easy. It runs Asustor ADM with Btrfs snapshots, backup and surveillance apps, supports up to 12 drives with expansion units and comes with a 3-year warranty. Drives are not included.
