This is an ATEN 16-port rackmount KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) console, built into a 19" LCD drawer with integrated USB/PS2 combo switching across all 16 connected servers, plus an extra console port for a second local access point. A KVM of this type lets a data-centre or server-room technician manage up to 16 separate servers from one keyboard, monitor and mouse — folding away into a single rack unit when not in use — rather than needing a dedicated monitor/keyboard per server, saving both rack space and desk clutter. USB peripheral support means USB devices (not just keyboard/mouse) can also be shared/switched to the active server, useful for tasks like mounting a USB installation drive to whichever server is currently selected.
