The Atlona AT-AVA-EX70-2PS-KIT is an Avance series HDBaseT extender kit - a transmitter and a receiver - for sending HDMI video and audio over a single category cable. It carries 4K/UHD at 60 Hz 4:2:0 up to 40 m (130 ft), or 1080p up to 70 m (230 ft), over Cat6/6A cable, which suits conference rooms (laptop or room PC to a front-of-room display), classrooms (lectern PC to projector) and residential installations. EDID filtering prevents unsupported resolutions being passed, clock stretching stabilises problematic HDMI sources, and a built-in HDBaseT link test verifies the cable, termination and link quality during installation. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant, passes CEC, and carries multi-channel PCM, Dolby and DTS audio. Each end has front power and link LEDs and a micro-USB port for firmware. Both units are locally powered, and the kit includes the transmitter, receiver, two 5 V power supplies, wall/table mounting brackets and an installation guide.
