The Atlona AT-OMNI-112 is a dual-channel OmniStream AV-over-IP encoder that puts two HDMI sources up to 4K/60 4:4:4 with HDR onto a standard gigabit Ethernet network. It is used in enterprise campuses, universities, meeting and divisible rooms, retail and houses of worship where any source needs to reach any display. Atlona's VCx codec provides artifact-free presentation of computer graphics and fast-motion video with encode-to-decode latency below one frame, and switching between 4K/60 streams in under half a second. Two independent encoding channels in one box save rack space, and the unit can also send two simultaneous streams from one source to primary and redundant networks for resilience. Each channel carries embedded audio and RS-232 or IR control pass-through, and video, audio and control can be sent together or to separate destinations. Features include HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support, EDID and HDCP management, thumbnail previews in Velocity or the web GUI, built-in Ethernet link testing, IEEE 802.1X and AES-128 security, and PoE powering from a network switch (an optional AT-PS-48083-C supply is available). It pairs with OmniStream OMNI-121 and OMNI-521 decoders.
