Atlona EDID Emulator for 4K HDR HDMI Signals

The Atlona AT-ETU-SYNC (Etude Sync) is a compact HDMI EDID emulator and signal-integrity tool used by AV integrators to solve handshake problems between sources and displays. Placed inline between a source such as a media player, Ultra HD Blu-ray player or PC and a display, projector or HDBaseT extender, it emulates EDID and the +5 V / Hot Plug Detect signals so the source always sees a stable sink, even when devices are powered on in the wrong order or a display is switched off. It can learn EDID from a destination device, reports HDCP status at both ends, and re-clocks the HDMI signal at up to 18 Gbps, which also helps older sources that lack HDMI clock stretching work with HDBaseT extenders. It supports 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and is HDCP 2.2 compliant. Audio formats up to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X pass through. The unit measures 38 x 127 x 102 mm, weighs 0.27 kg and draws 5.2 W from the included power supply. Atlona now markets it under its Javelin line.
