The Atlona AT-GAIN-NET is an optional Dante / AES67 network audio interface card for Atlona's Gain Audio mixer amplifiers (the AT-GAIN-120 / Gain M120 and M240 models). Installed into the amplifier in the field, it turns a conventional installed-sound amplifier into a network audio endpoint that can receive two channels of audio over IP. Sources can be a Dante- or AES67-equipped DSP, a networked mixer, or Atlona OmniStream AV-over-IP encoders, which makes it useful in classrooms, meeting rooms, hospitality venues and corporate spaces where audio is distributed over the building network instead of dedicated analogue cabling. Installation is plug-and-play: the card slots into the amplifier's expansion bay and is secured with the supplied bracket. Routing and subscriptions are configured with Audinate's Dante Controller software. Note that this card is an accessory only and requires a compatible Atlona Gain amplifier; it does not function on its own.
