The Atlona AT-WAVE-101 is an ultra-small wireless presentation receiver (Wireless Audio Visual Environment) that lets up to four people share content from their own devices on one display at the same time, without installing an app. Presenters cast using the native AirPlay, Google Cast or Miracast built into iOS, Android, Mac, Chromebook and Windows devices, with optional randomly generated PIN codes for security. It is aimed at meeting rooms, huddle spaces, open collaboration areas and classrooms. Dynamic Layout Mode automatically rearranges the screen as sources join or leave, and Instructor Mode lets a teacher queue and approve student devices through a web portal. Beyond BYOD it can play uploaded images and video up to 4K, play YouTube content, live-stream a session to YouTube for remote or overflow viewers, and act as a simple digital signage player with platforms such as DAKboard. It can work as its own dual-band Wi-Fi access point or join the facility network, supports Miracast over infrastructure, has gigabit LAN, USB and HDMI output, and is managed at scale with Velocity Device Manager. Wireless video is up to 1080p30 (1080p60 with Miracast). Atlona has discontinued this model.
