The Audac VEXO208/B is a compact, high-output 3-way passive loudspeaker in black, from Audac's VEXO installation range. It is designed for venues that need both a modern look and strong performance, from bars, restaurants and nightclubs to sports facilities, auditoriums and houses of worship. The slim horizontal cabinet houses a dual 8-inch driver arrangement (one 8-inch coaxial LF with 2-inch voice coil and one 8-inch LF with 1.8-inch voice coil) and a compression driver with a 1.4-inch voice coil and 1-inch throat, rated at 800 W program power. Sensitivity is 94 dB (1 W/1 m) with a maximum of 121 dB SPL, frequency response is 62 Hz - 20 kHz (+/-3 dB), and coverage is 96 degrees horizontal by 100 degrees vertical. It is a 4-ohm speaker with two Speakon-compatible connectors for link-through, internal compression-driver protection, and an optional 70/100 V transformer module for distributed systems. The 15 mm multiply plywood cabinet has a four-layer polyurea coating and powder-coated steel grille. A U-bracket is included, allowing horizontal or vertical mounting with -90 to +35 degree tilt. It measures 715 x 258.5 x 285 mm and weighs 17 kg.
