The Audac DW5066 is a digital all-in-one wall panel controller for Audac's multi-zone digital audio matrix systems and multimedia digital mixers (such as the M2 and R2), used in bars, restaurants, retail stores, hotels, corporate offices and homes to give staff simple local control of background music and paging. This is the black version (RAL 9005). A rotatable push dial (Scroll-Push control) and a 2.5-inch full-colour graphical LCD let users select audio sources, trigger mixing presets (scenes, M2 only), and adjust volume, tone and mute for their zone. The panel also adds local inputs: an unbalanced stereo line input on RCA sockets for a phone, MP3 or CD player, and a balanced microphone input on an XLR socket with software-enabled 15 V phantom power for announcements, each with its own push-lock gain control and clip indicator; one input can be converted into a local line output. It connects over RS-485 control and S/PDIF digital audio via an 8-pin Euro terminal block, using CAT6 UTP cable up to 300 m. The ABS panel measures 153 x 94 x 45 mm (37 mm built-in depth) and weighs 0.21 kg. Flush-mount boxes WB50/FG and WB50/FS are sold separately. Audac lists the product as having no successor.
