Audac Hanging condenser microphone Hanging condenser microphone -white
The Audac CMX382 is a hanging (overhead) condenser microphone with a slim, miniature design, used for speech pickup above conference and meeting tables and for choirs, orchestras and music in houses of worship. It has a back-electret condenser capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern, which helps reject feedback and unwanted noise, and a tailored frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz for clear, sensitive reproduction. A spiral hanging bracket allows overhead suspension, while a flexible gooseneck section lets the capsule be aimed accurately. The microphone has a fixed 3 m cable ending in a 4-pin mini-XLR connector, and an included phantom power adapter with a standard 3-pin XLR output lets it connect to any mixer or preamp providing 10 to 52 V phantom power. A windscreen is included to reduce popping. Audac quotes 200 ohm impedance, 130 dB maximum SPL and 75 dB signal-to-noise, with a size of 13.5 x 160 mm and a weight of 100 g. Audac lists this model as discontinued.
