The Audac ATEO6D/B is the black 16-ohm version of Audac's ATEO6 6-inch two-way wall loudspeaker with the patented CleverMount bracket. The 16-ohm 'D' version is intended for low-impedance systems where more speakers need to be connected to one amplifier channel than 8-ohm models allow - for example two 16-ohm speakers in parallel for an 8-ohm load - and it does not carry the 100 V line transformer of the standard ATEO6. It is aimed at retail stores, bars, restaurants, hotels, offices and clubs. The speaker combines a 1-inch dome tweeter and 6-inch woofer in an ABS housing with a steel grill, and delivers 60 W continuous (AES), 120 W programme and 240 W peak, 89 dB sensitivity, up to 106 dB SPL and a 65 Hz - 20 kHz (±3 dB) response with 120 x 120 degree coverage. Installation is quick: fix the wall plate, connect, clip the speaker on and tighten the safety screw; it can then be angled up to 30 degrees left, right or down.
