The Audinate Dante AVIO AES3 I/O Adapter 2x2 (ADP-AES3-AU-2X2) converts AES3 (AES/EBU) digital audio to and from a Dante network in a single adapter, with two channels in each direction. It lets engineers keep using trusted AES3-equipped gear - digital mixers, DSPs, amplifiers, effects processors and mic preamps - on a Dante system. Part of the compact Dante AVIO Live range - small enough for a kit bag and rugged enough for touring - it has its connection cables built in and plugs into the Dante network with a single Ethernet cable. It has an XLR-F input and an XLR-M output on short tails, 110 ohm balanced, with asynchronous sample-rate conversion, and supports 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz at 16, 24 or 32-bit with signal-to-noise better than 135 dB. Note it handles digital AES3 only, not analogue audio. It is powered over the network cable and needs a PoE switch or 802.3af-compliant PoE injector (Class 1); no separate power supply is required. It is configured and routed in the free Dante Controller software. The yellow colour code identifies the AES3 model; boxed weight is 194 g.
