The Axxent MS-100 is a single-channel wired intercom master station for theatres, churches, live events, broadcast studios and venues that need reliable talkback between the control position and stage crew. It provides one intercom channel with high-quality audio and its built-in power supply feeds up to 14 belt packs on the line, so it forms the heart of a wired party-line system built with Axxent belt packs and headsets (sold separately). Sound and light call alerts are standard: a push button sends a call signal light and a buzzer can be switched on or off. The operator position has a 4-pin XLR headset connector with headset volume and sidetone controls, and a three-position talk switch for push-to-talk, permanent talk or off. A 3-pin XLR mic/line input with its own volume control, plus line input and line output, let programme audio or a paging source be fed into the system and allow the intercom to be recorded or linked to other intercom devices. Key connectors and controls are on the front, including the XLR belt-pack connector and XLR line output. Functions and data otherwise match the two-channel MS 200 and the BP 100 belt pack. It is a 1U rack-width unit.
